Review and Community Policy

Version 1, published 3 Oct 2026

Draft for review by counsel. It describes how Truviews works today; the approved text replaces it before launch, and everyone is asked to accept the new version.

Every review earns the same points whatever its rating. A one-star review and a five-star review are rewarded identically, and points never depend on what you say about a business.

Reviews appear in order of most helpful or newest. Highest and lowest rated are sorts you choose; nothing is ranked by what a business wants.

Truviews does not edit what you write. Reviews containing links, contact details or abusive language may be held for a moderator, and you are told when that happens.

A moderator may remove a review or post that is fake or paid for, offensive, spam, reveals personal information, describes the wrong business, or must be removed by law. Every removal records the reason, and the author is told.

Businesses can reply once to each review and flag it. They cannot remove, hide, edit or reorder anything.

Anyone can report content. If you think a decision was wrong, contact the grievance officer.

Under the IT Rules 2021, complaints about content on Truviews go to the grievance officer, who acknowledges them within 24 hours and resolves them within 15 days.

The grievance officer's name and contact details are published here before launch. You can already file a complaint with the form.
